Privacy notice

SAHARA beta programme · version 2026-10-07.v1 · effective 7 October 2026. The Romanian version prevails.

1. Controller

2. Data we process

  • Beta sign-up form: work e-mail address, name (optional), company, role, sector, company size, the price tier you are interested in, budget band, an optional description of your need and the consent options you ticked.
  • Proof of consent: date and time of the sign-up, version of the consent text, IP address and browser identifier (user-agent) from which the form was sent, and the date, time and IP address of the e-mail confirmation.
  • Web server logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, response code and user-agent of each request.
  • Demo: data entered in the demo is not stored; the passport is generated and shown only in your browser.

The site uses no cookies, loads no analytics or advertising scripts and uses no third-party tracking services.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Contacting you about the SAHARA beta programme (beta information, early-access invitations) and, only if you ticked the separate option, for an interview or the pilot programme — consent, Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
  • Aggregated analysis of the answers (sector, size, price tier, budget) to understand which features and prices fit the market — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); results are used only as aggregated numbers, without identifying persons or companies.
  • Proof of consent, abuse prevention (spam, automated submissions) and site security — the Controller's legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and the obligation to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR).

Providing the data is voluntary. Without the e-mail address, company and contact consent we cannot register you for the beta. We make no decisions based solely on automated processing and create no profiles.

4. Retention

  • Sign-up data: until you withdraw consent or the beta programme ends, but no longer than 24 months from sign-up; then it is deleted.
  • Sign-ups not confirmed by e-mail: deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Proof of consent (date, time, IP, text version): for the same period as the sign-up data.
  • Web server logs: 14 days, then deleted automatically by rotation.
  • Daily count snapshots contain aggregated numbers only, with no personal data.

5. Who has access

Only the Controller has access to the data. We do not sell or rent data. The site and database are hosted on a server rented from Contabo GmbH (Germany, European Union), acting as processor for hosting. Data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area. The confirmation e-mail is sent through our own mail server to your e-mail provider. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), B-dul G-ral. 7. Security

The connection is encrypted (HTTPS). The database is not reachable from the internet; the data export is protected by authentication and used only by the Controller. The form is protected against automated submissions without third-party services.

8. Changes

The version in force is published on this page with its date. If we change the purposes of processing, we will ask for your consent again.
